Rev Timothy Arul Kumar first son of Rev Udayakumar son of Rajendran son of David, son of Samuel son of Jacob married to Merlin Christina Manju on 3rd Oct 2014 at Madurai. Welcome to the bride to the extended family of Jacob of Nanchankulam Tirunelveli dist. 

  

The holy matrimony was con-celebrated by hosts of presbyters with Rev Dr Joseph the present CSI Bishop of Madurai – Ramnad and former Bishop Dr Pothiraj who delivered the matrimonial sermon. 

He elaborated on the verse ’You must not tell me what to do’ John  2.4. He stated that the purpose of himself and his mother are different. He was reminding his mother about the divine mission he has been assigned. 

The long wail worn by the bride was explained by the bishop that it symbolizes the long generation of those who are blessed by the lord of Moses, Abraham and Isaac.

DEATH IN THE FAMILY

Thanga Durai the second son of Samuel (Padi Chennai) son of   Solomon son of Samuel son of Jacob passed away at the age of 39 near Indore MP on 30th Sept. The body was brought by road to Padi Chennai on the 1st Oct 2014 to be buried in the cemetery near Ivan Stedford Hospital Tirumullaivoyil Chennai. Large number of relatives from Nanchankulam, and other places attended the funeral service in the CSI Church behind Britannia Biscuit Co in Padi Chennai. May his soul rest in peace and the eternal light shine upon him. He is survived by his spouse Amutha and two young daughters.His siblings are Vincent, Beulah and Ruby. The extended family of Jacobson offers condolences  on the sudden and untimely death. May his soul rest in peace.

Welcome to the bridegroom. Sept 2014. She belongs to the sixth generation in the family.
